I've been running linux mint on my laptop for a few years now. Today I finally made the switch on my desktop. I use synthesia as a way to play keyboard and it runs so much smoother in wine. Why do windows apps run better in linux?

I'm not sure what I did but my pinhole camera is basically broken. This is the best image that I got from 4 attempts today. I'm out of supplies so I'll have to shelve this hobby until after I can afford to continue.

fifth attempt for today still a failure. It's like the camera isn't getting any light with the smaller aperture. I'm going to try to make the hole a bit bigger and give it one more shot before I call it for the day. I'm really tired of standing in a pitch black closet for no image.

I probably won't be sharing any pinhole photos today. I have taken two exposures so far, neither of them are anything worth sharing. The first was pure black and the second was a grey in tone. I swapped out the aperture to something much smaller and I need to dial in exposure times.

second and third attempts with the pinhole camera were nowhere near as good as the first. I am currently on version 3 of the 'camera' I've moved away from tin and have been working with cardboard and a whole lot of tape. Waiting on exposure four to finish before I try to develop it.
