Every trike there’s a school shooting we all hear about the “first responders”.

You never hear a peep about the teachers, er staff, etc who really went through the trauma.

It chaps my ass on how there's a legion of library, school, and healthcare workers who consistently and quietly deal with substance use disorder, mental illness, domestic violence, and a wide array of other issues with little to no acknowledgement while law enforcement needs constant affirmation.
