AB 321 SIGNED INTO LAW!

AB 321 will improve court efficiency and save public funds by ensuring that judges have sufficient time and evidence to determine whether a wobbler offense will move forward as a misdemeanor or a felony.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day is celebrating the powerful resilience of the First People to survive in spite of genocide. It's not about erasing history, but about owning a more complete & honest one.

Thank you @governor.ca.gov for signing #AB1319 by @asmnickschultz.bsky.social that strengthens California’s ability to stop illegal wildlife trafficking and to safeguard endangered species. California’s wildlife officers and wildlife protection orgs are so glad the state has these new tools.

AB 1036 SIGNED INTO LAW!

My bill brings greater transparency and fairness to California’s justice system. This law helps build a more accountable system by improving access to information that can support sentence reviews and strengthen trust in the post-conviction process.

AB 43 SIGNED INTO LAW!

CA protects over 2,400 miles of wild and scenic rivers—and now, those protections are permanent. AB 43, signed into law, removes the sunset clause, ensuring that if federal protections are rolled back, CA's state protections will stay strong to safeguard our rivers forever.
