One of my death knights, Aldrick Rimeheart! 👄👼🌹

#worldofwarcraft #warcraftart #deathknight
That looks extremely cozy!
Im pretty sure he flipped you off as you rode into the suns- I mean darkness
And there BETTER be one of the Ebon Blade death knights being our delve companions too.

If they're continuing the lame 1 companion per expansion, I propose having Thassarian for Alliance and Koltira for Horde.
They better be or else Im going to hit the roof
Im seeing Turalyon coming to blows with Lo'rthemar in the future from the bit Im seeing in the PTR but Thrall is the more thematic choice.

Honestly want to see this happen
But he is friend shaped :)

Will delete this later because it’s very unpolished—but I’m redesigning my forsaken headsman/knacker and he’s so cuttttteeee
The only thing we got was having to go to Acherus and go UwU on Darion to please corrupt our Ashbringer.
My only disappointment is that they didnt give a paladin version of that quest in return. I wanted slap Mograine upside his head dammit!
Heck yeah Im on the same boat as you! High Five!
Wasnt Jarod married for a long time?
Sheesh! Im glad you came out ok. Ive had this experience too when I was a teen and I kid you not I had a small chain stuck on my throat because I developed a bad habit on chewing on objects.

That experience help break out of doing that.

Playing Legion Remix gave me the motivation to try to unlock the Corrupted Ashbringer hidden appearance on my main.

Im not sure if future phases will allow to earn it easily but I wanted to go through this small questline as it helps me add onto Richter's story in Legion a bit anyway.
They should be instead fragrance bombing
The fallout lasts until Shadowlands where a bunch of nonsense happens ofcourse but Im still rewriting and retooling that story to fit my characters better anyway lol

But in general, Legion is when the two become separate and its something I hope I can share more of here
Richter tells him to "suffer well" and leaves. In this case he doesnt get the corrupted ashbringer. There's a lot more to Richter and Jagen's Legion story. Both Jagen and Darion while they dont regret their actions they still felt sorrow over betraying their friend.
Richter then shatters the crystal. He proclaims that even when given the power to protect people, he doesnt want to sacrifice lives to do so. He then cuts ties with them and states that he wont be hesitant anymore. Instead only holding on to the memory when he was alive.
Eventually Richter addresses the Ebon Blade's actions at Light's Hope and while he believed he understood and came to terms with them, he realized his own naivety blinded him. He wanted to trust in their friendship; that somehow it could overcome their nature. Darion stays silent.
The two speak privately somewhere and Richter shows the shard to Darion. He explains the artifact and its potential use to empower the Ashbringer, and the conversation trails into reminiscing of their times together before Darion sacrificed himself.
Richter only manages to get Darion to agree; the other Horsemen werent present nor even their Deathlord Jagen whom didnt want to show face (they were busy elsewhere). As expected the rest of the Ebon Blade didnt receive him kindly and were wary of a retaliation but Darion dismissed them
His Deathlord counterpart Jagen also had complications with the attack but believed in their cause. In this version, Richter goes to Acherus alone as he wanted to have one last personal exchange with Jagen and Darion before he severs ties. He makes sure to notify them beforehand though.
This event takes place after the death knights's raid at Light's Hope for Tirion. Needless to say, the incident brought a lot of baggage to Richter; his broken trust with the Ebon Blade, his own failure to defend his allies and uphold responsibility as the Highlord.
Im taking only some bits of this to fit with Richter's canon, but in general he manages to find a shard of darkness and it reminded him of the Corrupted Ashbringer that his old friend Darion Mograine wielded. He consults Tyrosus about it and decides to talk to Darion personally.
