Pretty easy - it’s already got the battery charging circuit.
This brings back some happy memories :)

For some reason I find this the most stressful time - what mistakes will discover when the boards arrive…
Pretty impressed this worked. Back when I was doing my PhD simply extracting the numbers from an image reliably would have been a good result.
Been messing around with my latest PCB - I've now got a "digital twin". More details at the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vpd...
Nice - though I’m now regretting not shipping with rubber feet!
My ESP-Rainbow created by @atomic14.bsky.social was delivered through @crowdsupply.bsky.social today! I just added some rubber feet, fired Chromium on my Linux laptop and upload Manic Miner 😁

The first impressions are terrific: menu, games loading and keys all worked as they should.
It’s finally happening! Apologies for the delay. International bulk shipping to the US has been a bizarre experience.
@atomic14.bsky.social Hi Chris. Just checking that the ESP32 Rainbows are still on track? I've not heard any shipping messages just yet.
It’s been pretty eye opening - the difference between sticking something up on tindie and doing it “properly”…
Pretty interesting - I really thought it would be the capacitors that had gone wonky.

This is some serious packing - a box within a box within a box. The displays have arrived safely!
Nothing like scratching your own itch. Wanted a nice easy way to convert from ZX Spectrum SCR files to PNGs. There are some nice command line tools for doing it, but here's my web version. www.esp32rainbow.com/tools/scr-to...

Nice bit of bathroom electrics :)
