Same, though I am non-theist. Those claiming to be 'atheist' who then carry on berating religions and the people who follow them have missed the point. It is disrespectful in the extreme, to say the least, and exposes such actors as insecure attention-seeking twats, not live-and-let-live at all.

I read an article earlier today citing the original plan was developed in 2017, with allocations made in 2022. If I can find it again, I'll post it.

Either way, I agree with you. If it does go back to 2017, no wonder it has been kept under wraps; the public is strongly opposed.

The whole announcement was pure theatre. This is not new, there is no 'Qatari air base', Temu Hitler did not 'make a great deal' here.

It is a training program for Qatari military pilots, same as the US supports for other countries' pilots. They just had to posture at power having lost the Nobel.

Hoping for Dodgers to be eliminated before the Big Dance, cos then it will deffo be something no one has ever seen before. Cubs are legacy, but Brewers, Mariners, and Jays are all modern-era/expansion teams. The minor league Seattle Pilots became the Brewers in 1970 - cool stuff!

What a game: 15 hard-fought innings, incredible pitching, close calls, amazing defence, great plays.

This one game encapsulated all the grit and grind of the last few weeks of the season: Detroit's collapse, Seattle's improbable climb - redemption in the balance for both.

Fantastic game.

The current year's prizes are based on submissions from the prior year. The selection process ends every January. Even if ClownShow Mc FuckFace somehow manages to end Russia's invasion of Ukraine, earliest he could be awarded a Nobel is 2026.
He isn't ever getting it, regardless.
