Lots and lots of mellotron to enjoy on this epic 1971 'Song of the marching children' from Dutch band Earth and Fire. The songs weave in and out of major/minor chords and scales, so they alternate between happy and sad mood. I truly love the sound of Jerney's voice!

Undoubtedly I prefer Italian prog above Spanish, but hey, what an original & varied debutalbum is this! In the array somewhat similar sounding modern prog Vientos Moderatos del Este brings in some fresh arrangements! #nowplaying 'Un manual de signos y sintomas' Very Recommended❤️

Prologue: lush melodies, full of originality and classical influences. Maybe Renaissance's best album, along with Ashes are Burning. Great titletrack, Kiev and a 11 min. closing Rajah Khan with Annie Haslam's chants giving the whole a supernatural feel. Excellent #progrock #music 🎧
