Well, except the fact that all the money they are spending, which is the only growth element in the economy, is on each other, buying each others tech. It’s not actually contributing anything at all to the country. It’s a destructive circle that will fail at some stage. It’s unsustainable.

If you remove economic input from AI development from the US Economy, the USA has had zero economic growth in the first half of 2025. Zero growth in US GDP, except for the growth in the AI sector….

If I’m honest, I do struggle with the Trump/Netanyahu peace thing. After the literal obliteration of Gaza, the murder of around 70,000 Palestinians by the fascist IDF supplied with US weapons. The very concept of them crowing about the ‘peace’ they’ve made, is sickening.

The Israelis have reduced Gaza to rubble, after an entirely disproportionate revenge for a terrorist attack on Israel.

We have ‘Peace’ now. Trump and Netanyahu said so. All the brutalised can return to their rubble, and be peaceful.

I think the key factor, limiting Trump’s chances of a Nobel Peace Prize, is that it’s hard to imagine an international public figure less worthy of the award, in most people’s living memory.
