Round here? It’s that he takes a lot of rent and puts it up every year. And doesn’t communicate with his tenants except through his estates office. He also takes farmland and builds houses (he doesn’t seem to have a problem with planing. 🙄). He’s not well liked by anyone I’ve met. His father was.

Where I live most of the farms are tenanted from the Duke of Northumberland. Although he’s a very poor landlord I’m told.

Yeh well they take advantage of poor Oliver!! A tenant at Meadow Farm would be interesting. Rex would be a candidate since that’s what he originally turned up in ambridge to do. #TheArchers

Took my husband 8 attempts to catch our bathroom mouse. It kept nicking the bait!! Anyway humane trap. Caught him. Drove him to a rural area no houses let him go!! Good luck.

Doubt the be caught by the new IHT rules. Just a 20% tax on anything over £1m. ‘However, by amending the farmer’s will to leave at least £1m of qualifying assets to the next generation, their allowance will be utilised, and part of the farm will pass to the next generation tax free on 1/2

I think they keep it kinda vague. So we can suddenly find ourselves with a farm / family/situation we weren’t aware of!! Like the number of bedrooms saga in each property!. #TheArchers

By the sound of it she has dementia? Confused, upset and in pain. Poor lady. There was a lady, a former head teacher, at my mum’s nursing home. She had advanced dementia. She thought she was communicating with you but was in reality just screaming in your face. All day. 😢

2/2 Maybe try and narrow down one that would be more interested in that kind of thing.

His biggest problem has been using photos or accounts of WW2 as copyright is difficult to get. Not impossible but he’s had to work hard at it.
