I’ve been trying out and auditioning for things a lot more this year, which means I’ve also been getting hit with a LOT of rejection. Yeah it sucks, but being able to keep going anyway, to push past that fear of trying, it’s made me more powerful than ever.

“I don’t have the right equipment” “I need vocal lessons” “It’s way too expensive”, etc. And maybe those are still true (lol) But earlier this year I was rejected from something I really wanted to do because I hadn’t “made” anything yet.

So I finally did it. I hunkered down and made something.

Finally releasing a proper song cover was a huge step forward for me as a VTuber… It’s something I’d been wanting to do since the beginning (close to five years ago!) but I was always afraid to actually go through with it for one reason or another
