digital fan comic of mizuki akiyama and ena shinonome. ena holds her phone, and asks “so, you’re sure you want me to take all the progress pics?” mizuki responds “yep! there’s no one else i trust more with the task!” then she points at her, saying “ah! but make sure you don’t use any of your filters! i can handle it!” ena looks annoyed, saying “huh?! of course i wouldn’t!” then thinks to herself while blushing “besides… it’s not like you even need them…” she then focuses seriously on taking a picture of mizuki, who smiles and holds out a peace sign.

next page, in a different setting, mizuki yells ena’s name and ena looks up from her phone. mizuki runs into her arms in a hug and ena laughs, saying “alright, alright! how was it?” mizuki excitedly looks at her with sparkling eyes and says “i was so excited and nervous i almost passed out! i got my first shot, ena!” and ena laughs, saying “yes, yes, i’m aware. i’m really proud of you, mizuki.” they then go to a cafe and sit at a table, ena on her phone and mizuki eating ice cream. mizuki then asks “hey, ena! could we take another picture?” to which ena is confused and says “hm? it doesn’t take effect in a few minutes…” mizuki laughs and says “no! i mean, just a normal picture of us! i wanna remember today!” ena, embarrassed, says “ah, right…” and they take a selfie together.

one year later, mizuki holds up two side by side photos of herself, the first being the picture ena took at the beginning with “first hrt shot” written on it. she says “whoa! i can’t believe it really worked so much! i didn’t realize how different i look now!” in the second picture she holds, mizuki’s body and face shape has changed a little due to hrt. ena smiles looking at her, they both sit side by side on a bench. ena says “hehe, right? but, you’ve always been very cute.” mizuki is embarrassed and laughs, saying “ena!” ena then asks “do you think you’re happier now?” and mizuki responds “definitely! i’ve never been so happy in my life!” she then holds the picture of the selfie she and ena took, saying “this is still one of my favorites.” ena asks “oh? how come? i’m curious.” and mizuki responds “because i’m so happy! and you’re with me.” ena is surprised and blushes, her heart thudding as she says “eh?!”

ena then says “geez… but, huh, i’m still here, though?” mizuki giggles at her earlier reaction, and says “i know!” then she smiles, saying “rather, i never would’ve imagined you’d be here for my whole journey just a few years ago! so i’m still really grateful for all those little moments.” ena is surprised, then smiles with a blush. she then holds her hand, mizuki and her having been wearing the bow charm bracelet she made for all of nightcord the whole comic on their left arms, but this time it’s colored. ena says “and i’ll be with you every step of the way”, and mizuki responds “hehe… i’ll stay here, too.”
