This may end up being a good thing, though unfortunately the jobs aren’t evenly distributed. So we will end up with layoffs in information work and shortages in medical and trades.

When you get your book in print, it just hits different than the digital version.

I recommend authors set it on the table while they have a warm beverage. You’ll be surprised how often a conversation will pop up about it.

Don’t let people tell you that #marketing has to be one way or another, without at least putting forth some kind of evidence.

Some are doing well being “more human” and people are scaling with “AI slop.”

Maybe it’s more about knowing your audience?

What if being weird is what moves the needle? I’m great at being weird. I’ve always been weird. Weird is my thing.

People used to tell me that my “weird” posts (like chicken vidoes 🐓) looked unprofessional. But by today’s standards I am way ahead of the “being more human” curve!

Maybe I’m old and cynical but everyone yelling, “be MORE human and that’s how you win at marketing” is bascially wishful thinking and not advice with any impirical evidence.

They might be right. But they also might not be.

How old do people need to be to understand the system of dirty politicians causing problems and then pointing at the problems they caused as the reason people should elect them? (again)

I figured this out by about 17... and I remember feeling at the time that I had taken too long to realize it.
