while to process claims, even as much as a year, & then often cannot provide you with the money needed to get the support required so they end up losing any job they do get as well as it putting off any potential employers.

Some will have, for example, a mental age of about 3 or other conditions that no one in their right mind would consider fit for work. Then there is a larger group who no employer will touch with the proverbial 3/n

that many disabled rely on to be able to work. Taking away PIP will force many who are in work out of work & prevent many others from trying to get work. For example many disabled rely on Motability to get a disability adapted car that will enable them to get to job interviews & work or enable 2/n

I am one of the new members of the Green Party and I am both disabled myself & carer/parent to 3 disabled young adults. I read in a news article that Labour are planning to take away PIP & the health components of UC from young adults 'to get them into work'. PIP is a benefit 1/n

DWP 'welfare to work' plan for 1m young people on Universal Credit and PIP

So young people who need PIP, for example to get a disability adapted car from Motability to get to work, will no longer be able to work in order to force them into work.
