... I suspect we were originally supposed to battle Solas in DA-4 then during the events of that game release those trapped in the Black City for a DA-V. But I think because they figured VG was going to the the last DA game they wanted to tie things up more thus changing the antagonists in VG. 2/2

I get the sense that there was a narrative change from Flemeth to Solas behind the scenes due to a few issues and the leaned heavily into making Solas the big bad but for some reason that changed during the making of VG behind the scenes.

If I was to hazard a guess.. x/1
