Popped into Market Hall Museum, Warwick and great to see the Stone Age activities in action, particularly the clay making pots!
Themes still as relevant today then when it was published in the 60s.

One of the grandest entrances through an old foundry to a library I’ve ever seen and visited in the UK, at St Helen’s glass museum and library #theworldofglass @designinglibraries.bsky.social
Wonderful Shakespeare Bday celebrations in Stratford yesterday. 400 years plus after his death his legacy lives on. And what a cake! Shakespeare appeared outside his Birthplace in Henley Street, with his eldest daughter Susanna. Here with my daughter Zaynab 400 years after!
What a story, A Thousand Splendid Suns, transformed into a brilliant play. Such a moving experience and reminded me of the power of storytelling to stir your emotions. If you can would encourage you to pop down to The Birmingham Rep and book yourself a seat!
Great entertainment at The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford last night, with the retelling of Shakespeare’s classic comedy #muchadoaboutnothing taking on world football themes. Although written in the late 1500s, the themes still resonate today and particularly to a younger audience. Bravo!
Happy #stgeorgesday Well done Warwickshire Libraries on your fantastic eye catching display
Reflecting on my visit to Hereford (a few months ago) during this Christian Holy Week. Gaza to my surprise featured on the Mappa Mundi, Hereford Cathedral, 1296. Heartbreaking to see the destruction of such an ancient city and people. @hfdcathedral.bsky.social
Shocking, what’s happening across the pond.
If you love your library, listen up…
Great to join Friends of the Warwickshire County Record Office AGM followed by an enthralling talk by Heidi Meyer, The Master of the Lord Leycester, who talked about the most recent restoration of the building and origins of @LordLeycester #History
