That is also an option! I've spent a couple of IRL days trying to figure out timetable set up and should I just have a dang chef come in that isn't staff at the senior home or a camp consoler and all they do is cook starting 3hrs before anyone eats. Arg. Buffet table. I see the reasoning.

Took Christie Sigworth off to Camp Gibbi Gibbi to say I tried a kids camp. Activities all worked fine. Except serving food and eating time. I keep having to set up having someone make meals in the time period before eating time to have any hope of having food for sims to eat.

I don't know that I planned on any Halloween posts for sims this year. Then last night I dreamed of dressing Mary Margaret up as a zombie. And, I haven't done it yet. But what If I just play stupid dress up with Mary Margaret for silly sims stuff this October? Its a thought...

Season 8 of My Hero Academia is now being released week by week and as a result I devolved into fan writing like a loon again. 20,000 words of an AU in a week kind of writing. This is not sustainable. It is fun though!

Same. Playing with oldies and realizing the old sim care home needs a serperate roll for a cook as the staff can't handle cleaning and cooking at once. In fact, they would rather swim. Glad to know I get to look for more of the same when I check out kids camps! 🥲

I may have to try setting the staff to cook in the time slot before dinner. Then the food would be ready without a caterer being brought in. BRB, let me check.

I know, the caterer is counter productive. I could have my host sim handle it and that would sort things out. Its just that the staff start cooking and serving at the same time the old folks are coming for dinner and then EVERYONE is trying to cook dinner.

Running an old folks home just like I always wanted. In the Sims. The old farts are cranky. When you feed them a steady diet of franks and beans, I really do me "old farts."

In 2 sim days of testing, I can say that getting a caterer to serve meals is much more effective than asking staff to do it.

Very important change for my personal save: that is NOT Skip Broke living in Gibbi Point. That's Justin Broke, Skip's dad. Skip is a drowned ghost living with Brandi, Dustin and Beau in a tiny trailer in Oasis Springs. Thanks for coming to my save file rant.

Opened my Sims game twice. Had the advertising overlay get stuck on blue overlay mode and now you can't play twice. The full screen advertisements are the worst choice in this game.

Mucking about updating my senior home in hopes it can actually be used that way soon. This was such a fun build. The lady who runs the place is an immortal and Good vampire. I'm interested to let her really be a host for the oldies for once.
