I’ve been watching CMLL and I haven’t had any problems not understanding the commentary. They still hype me up during the match and there is always someone on here that gives the background of what’s going on, so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything.

If it’s a work, Bandido is almost too good of a seller. I like keeping the kayfabe of it, but I’m now a little too much on edge when I see him wrestle.

I don’t really want AEW to appeal more to everyone. I think there is definitely room for improvement, but a lot of what you listed doesn’t personally resonate with me - more instant replays for example. It would feel a little watered down, to be honest and wouldn’t be for me at a certain point.

Some of that (for me) is because there are things that I wouldn’t want to bleed into AEW. ‘What’ chants are a good example. More importantly, it was actually the depth of knowledge the fans had for all wrestling that attracted me. It made me into a more rounded fan. It feels like a company for me.

As context, that has been suggested to me as a therapy tool for my autism (to help with tone). Often people misunderstand my intent and react badly, so to avoid that I get stuck in an OCD loop of constantly checking if what I wrote is ok. I refuse to use AI, but that might be why someone would.

I’ve said it before, but one thing I love about Mox is he always looks for the kids in the crowd and makes a point to do something cool right in front of them. I’m pretty sure he is going to be responsible for a whole new generation of wrestlers.

It would be weird doing another match with Bandido’s arm. He also apologized after the CMLL match and said he wanted to do a rematch there, so if they do run it back I think it would be at CMLL.

Ugh. That really sucks. It was clear you knew what you were talking about. And it’s a very good question. I watched the CMLL match and I still don’t know if it was a work. Everyone I’ve talked to thinks it’s legit, and he seemed to be moving a little differently today.

AEW has been posting a lot of PPV matches on their YouTube. We are leading up to a pay per view, so it’s a good time to get into it as they usually recap the stories going into it. The community on here is also great and always willing to answer questions.
