I cannot believe how Halo went from one of the biggest FPS series of all time during Xbox 360 days to a series that barely anyone cares about anymore. It needs to be studied how 343i and Microsoft mismanaged the entire series.

Nice! Thanks for answering. Looking forward to it.
@mattobii.bsky.social I just wanted to ask but is the Sakura Wars 3 fan translation still in works? I just checked the Twitter account for Taisho Romanization and there hasn't been an update for a while now.
This is why you stop Kiseki after Ao no Kiseki and don't bother with the rest of the games.
I saw a good deal and one thing lead to another.
Saturn no doubt. The PSX version isn't a great port.

Just captured some Grandia 1, here it is compared to the remaster
The Sega Saturn version is still the best one. If you can, emulate that or if you have a Saturn, play it on an ODE. it's tragic how butchered the PSX port was. What's even more funny is that Gungho advertised that the HD remaster is based on the Saturn release despite it being not.
Perhaps my wish will eventually become true (please Sega). bsky.app/profile/bads...
I just noticed that the official Sakura Wars Twitter account has started being active again after several years of inactivity...
It was probably the case back then but modern platforms def do not do that. Secret Game: Killer Queen's Switch release lets you go into 4:3 mode just fine. Amagami's Vita release (heck even the PSP one I think) also lets you go into 4:3 mode but also lets you crop if you prefer that.
With Machi there's no definitive edition sadly. While PSP has new content, it also suffers from heavy censorship (on top of what was censored with the PSX port). Saturn release has no censorship but doesn't have some new things (like the flowchart).
I just wish they gave option to go with 4:3 as well.
I'll never understand why do developers, when porting 4:3 VNs to modern consoles, force 16:9? Here's an example of Chunsoft's Machi (Saturn vs the PSP port).

Yesterday's monthly update didn't fix the issue (despite it apparently being fixed in canary...?)
Though no worries, MS has more AI tools to help you out. Oh bugs with Windows 11? What bugs... We cannot hear you...

I face my computer, reciting the Canticle of the Start Menu. It responds "Understood, applying update." and renews my Game Pass for a decade. Fearfully, I hum the Hymn of Undoing. My OneDrive is made public and posted to Teams for all to mock. I begin to cry. Another month of Game Pass is added.

You can also use massgrave.dev to activate the security updates for free. It's not really complicated.
If you live in the EU, I think they made security updates for free.
If only. This is probably one of few easiest games to translate. I'm surprised given that it was developed by Leaf. All of their PC releases had scripts in format that you had to decrypt/extract.
Pipepipe isn't working either
I didn't even need to repack the archives!
Script files being in raw .txt surprised me.
