Secondly we have Waiting Game, our aptly named collaboration wth @burningskybeer.bsky.social. Fermented with both breweries’ mixed yeast cultures, then united and given a light dry hop with Tettnanger Saphir. This is a celebration of modern rustic beer.

First up we've got West Country IPA, our collaboration with @millsbrewing.bsky.social. Open fermented at ambient October temperatures in Mills' coolship, with an expressive British ale yeast, this was followed by 14 months maturation in oak.

🌶️ 🔥 Chilli beers out now! 🔥 🌶️

Available online now and at the taproom from 5pm today.

For the beers we used the same base saison split between three tanks and three different chillies/chilli combos to add flavour and heat. All of the chillies were grown by John, our friend and tap regular.

The three beers are: Blended Lemon, Smoked Lemondrop and Pink Habanero, Orange Tyger, Smoked Reggae and Death Spiral. There’s also a very limited run of hot sauces made by the excellent Cole Men using these chillies!

Second we have Smoked Lemondrop, a sharp and more pokey heat with beautiful woody smoke and lemon pith topnotes. Finally we give you a combination of Pink Habanero, Orange Tyger, Smoked Reggae and Death Spiral chillies! A complex, tropical fruit character with a building heat & roasted peach notes.

It was a truely inspiring visit and we were really impressed with the focus of quality and attention to detail from the farm to the processing of these aromatic inflorescences.

Last week we made the trip down to Worcester where we joined Charles Faram on a tour of the hop yards of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. These farms, often having been in families through generations, produce traditional and newer varieties of hop for the brewing requirements of the UK and beyond.

Two single variety, barrel aged beauties as well as three blended ciders aged on elderflower, sage and Kentish hops respectively. They’ll be available online and in the taproom on Thursday!
