Not really. There were issues with the construction not meeting regulations which then had to be resolved. There may have been buck passing or legal wrangles over the problem but that's just guessing. Some communication from Lidl would not go astray!

The 40th anniversary celebration and renaming of the Ballybough Bridge to Luke Kelly Bridge is on Saturday 31st. Come along and mark this important event in our local community.

We have heard just today that Lidl are now - finally - engaging with the council about getting the project moving again. What that means on the ground, we don't know. It is super frustrating.
