i recently got a roll of film developed that’s been sat in my camera since 2023, here’s my favourite photo from the roll :) my shutter gets stuck and sometimes doesn’t expose the film. i hoped more than anything this one would expose.

after the proper scan was ordered and a nurse counted the follicles on each of my ovaries and gave up when it got to the 40s on each one (should be about 8-10 LOL) and proper blood panels, he was the one who called me to give me the diagnosis. VINDICATION.

i’ll never forget the time a male doctor, when presented with good evidence for further investigations and tests, said to me “WelL dO yOu ThInK YoU’vE gOt PoLyCyStIc OvArY sYnDrOmE?” gave up on testing me, went undiagnosed til i was 25 and a female doctor took me seriously, i then got diagnosed.

o lord you are the second to suggest this since i last mentioned it lol. i always was like “ehh never!!” (i had red and black hair when j was like 15 tho lol) but i do keep seeing people with very good looking deep red cherry-ish hair and i’m like hmmmmmmm….. but red is a BASTARD to upkeep
