If I’m putting my tinfoil hat on then I’d say it’s probably because the companies are actually selling the data they collect but use a “data leak” as a way of getting around how illegal it is 🤷🏽‍♂️

The thing I remember most from the 2021 twitter circles is that a bunch of people got caught up in a data leak from the website and got hacked… I’ve been too scared to link my Bluesky because of it haha

Literally I’m not even joking I spent all day yesterday looking at DOZENS of skircles that I’m not in… decide to throw myself a pitty party and suddenly I’m in peoples skircles!?

Tbh I’m a little apprehensive on using it, I did it on Twitter years ago and it turned out to be a phishing scam

There is a iPad mode that streamlines everything into a more procreate look but I use the default mode tbh… there are little arrows so you can collapse the windows into the side and out of the way which is nice but still would be much better on the PC I bet!
