Adding to that when you have to onboard a substantial number of juniors to the codebase who are just learning <insert language here> and it can become invaluable quickly, especially paired with navigational wisdom for larger repos.

It's a pattern I've found myself following around Ruby-land in what I tend to call "expert MCPs."

Generally how can we condense wisdom, experience, patterns, docs, and other knowledge into tooling. It tends to have a fairly significant gain on correctness I've found.

Agreed that there's a deep problem with internet culture becoming actively hostile towards anyone and everyone. There needs to be some systemic change here.

I had said that if anything happens to Shopify or they stop that it'd have a massive impact.

My point, simply, is that others needed to step up to the plate and help bear the load.

Even back in 2023 I mentioned this. Shopify does a significant amount both in terms of code as well as financial support.

For me my sticking point was not around their contributions, but that they were doing so almost effectively alone.

That fault lies with the community.
