You have Arsenal in first place, having allowed only three goals in 8 games, and then you have Man City in second, with Erling Haaland having scored 11 goals in 8 games.

It doesn't feel like those stats should exist in the same league.

I only bet sure things. Saw that fucking Nebraska/Minnesota game and had Minnesota as a sure bet to win. Told my kid, bet Minnesota to win. As much as you want. Sure thing.

Only after seeing Minnesota won by 18 did I realize I forgot to place the fucking bet.

I worked at the DMV one summer in college. One day two driving inspectors were out giving tests when the drivers they were testing ran into each other at an intersection.

Pretty fun day.

So, THE LUCKIEST MAN IN AMERICA is a pretty great flick.

Being a spectrum dwelling fart head, I knew the original story well enough that I didn't think there was enough meat on the bone to flesh out a film, but I forgot that any conflict can be spun into a compelling story in the right hands.
