Literally not true about Palestinian detainees. Over 1700 were simply snatched off the streets of Gaza or at border checkpoints and have never faced trial, let alone been convicted. The conditions for Palestinians held under this fiction are well documented as utterly inhumane.

Trump's remarks in Israel betray just how completely he's parrotting the Zionist myth of the eternal land of Israel. He's talking about "centuries" of conflict between Palestinians and Israelis, when the state of Israel hasn't even existed for a century.

The coverage of the hostage exchange in Israel and Gaza is breathtakingly hypocritical.

Hand-wringing and wailing for 20 Israelis held for 2 years is all well and good, but not one mention of the Palestinians held in appalling conditions for much longer, snatched off the street for no crime at all.
