would actually like ... be bad? and in the the story there would be stakes or something to be more dramatic? The only dramatic battle in the entire game (I didnt do dlc idk about them) is when you fight the robot professor.

I can't remember a single gym leader or elite four member or Star boss doing something relevant? The old guy advisor or whatever actually like exists around the world when he tries to infiltrate STAR or something, what do the other characters do? Sorry for ranting I just wish the bad guy orgaization

MASTERMIND but PLOT TWIST the mastermind is also misunderstood and wholesome and shy and got bullied (sad) like every single other team star boss and just like every other team star boss does almost nothing relevant aside from being misunderstood and wholesome in their storyline,

are actually super misunderstood and wholesome and anti bullying advocates and aren't actually bad guys so there is zero stakes all of their personality traits center around being misunderstood and quirky but wholesome deep down then PLOT TWIST the npc you interacted with once is actually THE EVIL

Also the S/V story: go to paldea join pokemon university, get some excuse for why you never actually do anything in the school aside from an optional series of battles to farm cash and other stuff no one cares about despite the school being the aesthetic of the game?? 14 if you go slow, then you have to spend 50 hours doing painfully repetitive grinding to get good pokemon at a high level with good abilities moves items etc. various mega pokemon (one of the main reasons to play the new game) are gonna be locked behind expensive dlc or more grinding.

soundtracks from other game franchises which often have better music that doesn't loop every minute and 30 seconds, the arstyle (barring the pokemon designs) has no soul no personality it just looks generic and kinda lazy, With the past few games, you have like 6 hours of gameplay if you go fast or

Tbh I probably won't do legends ZA, It's so expensive and I strongly doubt it'll have anywhere near enough content to justify the price. Also the only good thing about the pokemon series as of late has been the designs of the pokemon. The gameplay sucks because there's no difficulty settings
