Oh I love this reading list! Have you read Patrycja Humienik’s We Contain Landscapes? Polish-American but a fantastic collection on Polish heritage in my opinion!

This is great - Wadud is such an inventive and inspiring poet and I think you’ve done her quite well.

Writing about recent books is so challenging. I feel haven't lived with the book long enough to write about it.

I envy anyone who feels like they can give a confident opinion of a literature in short periods of time.

How did people see Isr*el murder 100 journalists in 1.5 years and not immediately assume the American cop structure, trained by Isr*el, wouldn’t also target media?

Be safe and protect your journalists

You and your words build community, and community will support you.

This is what I learn with every moment of engaging with writers and artists, poets and essayists. Our people are scaffolding for each other. And we are all constructing something marvelous, something beautiful.

Come see her film at SIFF or at Elliot Bay Books this Sunday 5/18 at 5 PM!

I will read a lil something to celebrate her, and her new book, too!

This is absolutely ridiculous, NFTs use vastly more energy and water than crypto.

Unnecessary and pitiable to the authors and artists whose work is being entrusted.
