Don’t miss the inaugural Bluff Dark Sky Film Festival, November 14-15 at the Bluff Community Center. BEP will be leading Star Parties with constellation tours Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8pm. The schedule also includes presentations and workshops to share dark sky knowledge and skills.

The BEITC is a Tribal-led nonprofit organization working under the direction of five Tribal Nations.

The Coalition advances Tribal collaborative management with federal agency partners, centering Traditional Knowledge so that Tribal priorities guide how Bears Ears is cared for.

Over lunch, we got to share a thoughtful conversation about the Bears Ears National Monument management plan, the varied perspectives represented by land users and their needs, personal connections to the landscape, and students' hopes for future visits into Bears Ears.

Coming from Durango, these volunteers stayed for three days and two nights in Indian Creek, and we spent a sunny day building a fence section and weeding.

Bad day to be a Russian thistle! BEP staff and volunteers from Utah Site Stewards, Osprey Packs, and Utah State Parks recently spent a day removing invasive species in a campground in Indian Creek as part of National Public Lands Day.
