I love Spike, he’s by far one of the best characters on the show and yeah in tv in general. For years I had no idea he wasn’t English either lol 🤣

I loved Dawson’s Creek, but I think it’s widely accepted that Dawson was probably the worst character, he was awful and a really bad friend too.

S2 is so good, I think it’s one of my faves too! The Spike of it all is iconic!

There have been a few characters I’ve disliked as a kid, but I only fully understood why when I’ve watched back as an adult and then I’ve hated them. Dawson from Dawson’s Creek is another one lol!

I agree, I don’t think it’s a negative stereotype for a character who we’ve already seen enjoys sex to then sleep with different people while he’s free and single and newly out as bisexual. And hopefully it might stop some of the ignorant comments about the show making him gay too.

I’m straight (and possibly demisexual if you can be both?) so I don’t have any insight on bisexuality or being slutty, but the way people are losing their minds over this is coming across as very hypocritical and reeks of biphobia. I’m sure they wouldn’t be saying anything if Buck was straight.

Exactly this! The scene was crossed out and, like you said, it’s two people, not the whole of LA 🤦🏼‍♀️ personally I’ve never had sex with someone I hardly know and the idea of a one night stand fills me with dread, but I’d never judge someone else for doing that. The reaction is mad!

I’m not on twitter anymore but I made the mistake of going on tumblr and looking at some instagram comments. Honestly, I’ve seen everything from this means buddie isn’t happening to it making Buck look bad and T*mmy deserves better 🤣 so I guess the crash out is on both sides.
