It's clear he wants to run for President, but he's not adjusting, altering, or toning anything down to win.

I loved how she would call out those who only used Pride for political gain.

J.B. marched way before he ever had a political career. I may not always agree with him on topics, but he is very genuine.

It is refreshing to see his focus on the LGBTQ+ population in such concerning times.

Illinois once has a Comptroller named Dawn Clark Netsch who was advised not to march in the Pride Parade in the early days. She ignored the warnings and marched anyway.

When she was retired, she would yearly host a float saying "Dawn Clark Netsch: I'm Not Running For Anything."
