Honestly, small games contain more soul. Some great titles are just quick 1hr romps. Just like smaller film and tv studios. But most only want the bigguns, cause it's all they see, know, or carefor. Realism is overcooked, give me stylised things that bear deep

Honestly it's just writing every little detail, top overviews first and nitty gritties, diagrams, etc, later on. They tend to be pretty long docs, hyperlinks in a contents table help. Go as in depth as possible, then review the top, and reverse again

I know I haven't been updating here, but I should probably say my creatures for my game are at 30/49 with full 8 point turns, and a couple have attack anims too for testing. 49/128 designed. I also have full tileable backgrounds, ~256 tiles

Slowly I can rebuild my game. Lost so much with that old PC crash. But now there's auto tiling, simple anims, and I still have my og sprites. Looking at it now though I may need a few more refined corners 😅
