Lovely to see the #EppingForest exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery this afternoon, including Queen Victoria's original invitations to its opening under the City's ownership in 1882.
Much of the signage is valid 100 years on!
The gallery is open every day from 10am-5pm and entrance is free.
Wonderful to launch the Brambly Hedge trail at #EppingForest today. A partnership project between the City of London Corporation, Epping Forest District Council and the author's family, supported by local MP, Sir Iain Duncan Smith and Visit England

Congrats to Dame Susan Langley, on her election as the next Lord Mayor of London, taking up office on 7th November.
Dame Susan is Chairman of the 3rd largest insurance broker globally and, despite becoming the 697th Lord Mayor, she will only be the third female.

A wonderful day, comprised of a sunny stroll through #BurnhamBeeches, meeting local volunteers and students, followed by lunch at Dorneywood House, discussing shared interests with key stakeholders and Buckinghamshire policy makers. A jolly good day! 🌳
Great to see another #EppingForest culvert replaced this week in Bellringers Hollow, #Loughton.
The culverts will help prevent flooding, soil erosion and maintain natural water flow patterns and ecosystems by allowing aquatic life to pass through.
Our English longhorn cattle basking in the autumn sunshine in Yates Meadow, #EppingForest this evening.
It feels great to be fully staffed at #EppingForest again after almost 8 years!
It was a joy to participate in new staff inductions this week, where we celebrate the wide variety of roles and functions the team perform together to maintain this natural asset.

You'd have to ask TfL We are in regular touch with the Deputy Mayor for Transport on this issue which has been painfully slow. I think TfLs financial woes are playing a part, but traffic modelling and consultation does take literally years.
It's actually a TfL road, not City of London Corporations.
Incredible to see this UNESCO World Heritage Site, Iguazu Falls, comprising 275 waterfalls on the border of Argentina and Brazil.
Another reminder of just how remarkable nature is.
