Had he not extended with Toronto, I would have insisted the Sox move heaven and earth to sign him. Can you imagine a lineup for the next decade featuring him and Roman as the centerpieces, and with dudes like Rafaela, Mayer, and Campbell around them? So fun.

I once called a 15-inning minor league game, and I was beyond gassed. I legit didn’t remember the 13th inning at all later that night. And that was a regular season game in the low minors! Cant imagine how fried Davis (and my main man Boog Sciambi) must have been.
