Today is the day! My book is finally available to buy. After years of work, I’m so excited to finally share it with the world! But this isn’t the end. I will be promoting the book across the country over the next year, so stay tuned for more info.

Here’s another example of how to do a misogyny when talking about misogyny. Don’t expect much better from OK magazine to be fair…

@profaliceroberts.bsky.social was the co-presenter in this show and definitely deserves the Kudos. I mean, she’s literally in the picture!

I swear some of these news outlets must be doing it on purpose. How can anyone be so stupid as to not see the irony of what they’re doing and writing! 🙄

Went to see the stage show of My Neighbour Totoro yesterday as a treat for the end of a very busy week. What an amazing show! I was brought to tears at moments 🥰 10000 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A stage with a large sign for My Neighbour Totoro with a blue background and large white letters. The letters for Totoro are larger and thicker and made of fabric.

Had a wonderful time in Cardiff this week for the @museumsassociation.org conference. Met some wonderful people and hung out with some familiar faces (thanks @sachacoward.bsky.social for a great after after party each night). Fantastic insights from across UK museums too.

A large cavernous hall with people milling around and talking to one another. Blue and red lights illuminate walls at the far end. A large white tall imposing building at the top of a hill with steep stairs leading up to it, running from right to left in the photo. Cardiff castle’s exterior walls lit with a blue light. They are very tall with several square towers at various points. Grass is in front with a short chain fence running along a path in the bottom left.

The Romans got EVERYWHERE so I wouldn’t be too surprised.

I’ve watched to much true crime and horror to know that barns are where you keep the bodies 😶

Maybe I’ll need naps in between sessions this week…

I don’t think I was clear-headed a single morning of that conference. Now I’m a little older I’m not sure I could handle that.

I’m speaking at the #MAConference this Wednesday. Very excited to hear the other speakers for what will be an incredible few days in Cardiff.
Who else will be there?

#ClassicTober #ClassicsTober25
An image of the god Hermes with a winged hat and a short tunic, holding a torch in his left hand and reaching out to a spirit, covered in a shroud, with his right arm. Below is the Greek for Hermes Psychompos.
