I am deeply relieved that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has been reached, bringing an end to two years of horrific violence, loss, and trauma.

I am deeply relieved that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has been reached, bringing an end to two years of horrific violence, loss, and trauma.

The agreement must now be swiftly implemented to reunite Israeli hostages with their families and scale up the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza, who have endured immense suffering throughout the war.

This moment is a testament to the power of diplomacy and offers a critical opportunity to build a future where both Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace and dignity.

I rarely agree with Marjorie Taylor Greene — but she’s right on this.

If ACA subsidies expire, health care costs will skyrocket and millions will be priced out of coverage.

We have the power to fix this. Let’s make a deal.

Marjorie Taylor Greene on CNN (!): "I'm getting phone calls from people that are saying if the ACA tax credits expire, they aren't gonna be able to have health insurance. They're going to have to drop it."

We are now in Day 8 of the government shutdown.

Our troops will miss a paycheck if we don't reopen by Oct 13th.

Speaker Johnson must bring lawmakers back to negotiate a bipartisan agreement to reopen the government, protect affordable health care, & ensure our troops get paid on time.

Two years ago today, Hamas terrorists carried out a brutal and unconscionable attack on Israel, murdering nearly 1,200 innocent people — including 46 Americans — and taking hundreds hostage.

We cannot let this shutdown continue.

It is time for Speaker Johnson to bring Congress back to protect affordable health care for more than 20 million Americans and reopen the government to serve the American people.

Even during a government shutdown, my offices in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. remain open, fully staffed, and ready to help.

Today, I formally requested that my pay be withheld until the federal government reopens.

While our troops and federal workers are forced to work without pay during a shutdown, Members of Congress still get paid. That’s not right.

This moment demands leadership from the President of the United States.

President Trump is failing by every measure.

This is what is at stake.

This is who I am fighting for.
If Republicans let Affordable Care Act subsidies expire, a 60-year-old couple in Sacramento County earning $82,800 a year will see their annual health insurance premiums rise by 628%.

That’s an additional $23,568 out of pocket each year.

This would force them to take on a crushing financial burden or become uninsured. No one should have to make that choice.

That’s why I’m fighting to extend ACA subsidies and protect access to affordable health care.

The government shuts down in less than 10 hours.

I’m back in D.C. ready to negotiate a deal to protect your health care and keep the government open.

Let’s get this done.

24 million Americans — including 28,000 right here in our district — would see their health care premiums skyrocket if Republicans let Affordable Care Act subsidies expire.

I’m fighting to extend these subsidies to protect access to affordable, quality health care for Sacramento County families.
If Republicans let health care tax credits expire, 28,000 people in California's 6th District will see the cost of health coverage soar.

President Trump backed out of a meeting with Democratic leadership.

The deadline to fund the government is just four days away.

It is time for President Trump to get off the golf course and make a deal with Democrats to protect Americans’ health care and keep the government open.

If Republicans refuse to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies, more Americans will face this unacceptable reality.

That's why I'm fighting to extend these subsidies and protect access to affordable health care.

As a doctor, I've seen firsthand what happens when people lose access to health care.

Patients skip checkups and go without medications. Chronic conditions worsen, small problems turn into major health crises, and preventable illnesses become emergencies.

President Trump and Congressional Republicans must come to the negotiating table to prevent a harmful government shutdown and protect Americans’ health care.

If they refuse to negotiate, they will bear full responsibility for shutting down the government.

The American people deserve public health recommendations rooted in science and evidence.

That’s why I will continue to speak out as RFK Jr. spreads dangerous misinformation — from undermining trust in vaccines to making unfounded claims about acetaminophen.
