The best candidate, 100 percent qualified, and a female, dropped out of the race.

Don’t necessarily disagree with DD’s contention but KP also hasn’t built a base here. We’re a large diverse state. You need the establishment to win.

On one of the smaller No Kings days protest here in my city, hubs and I drove past a suburban large senior residential village and there was a group of about 20-25 residents (many in wheelchairs) out protesting. They couldn’t get to an event, so staged one instead. We honked and cheered them on.

I get to pet baby goats at my husband’s HS FFA barn every year. The goats and pigs are cute and wicked smart (one goat kept pulling the fire alarm - they had to move it). But the chickens just gross me out. Little feathery dinosaurs. I know people love ‘em, but ew.

Umm, I work in downtown Sac. It’s actually pretty quiet these days. We have our homeless folk - they are mostly benign (and tragically sad), but otherwise, downtown is full of life, lovely people, and LOTS of construction.

My childhood pediatrician was a polio survivor (70’s). Being a curious keiki, I asked why he had a cane and he patiently explained the disease to me. I’ll never forget.

Darth, a home with that many mandolines is like out of a horror movie. I have one (cause thin potatoes, yum!), but it gives me nightmares. My bumpy right thumb (owwweee) can attest to my horror!
