Right now it's street fighter, and I love that I'm not automatically good at it. I love that I have to practice and try to improve, because when I do pull something cool off, it feels incredibly satisfying. Plus it has so much HISTORY.

It used to be monster hunter for similar reasons.

Would y'all be interested if I streamed Street Fighter? I'm really not great at the best of times, and I'd be even worse since I'd also be talking during the stream, but it's the game I'm currently most locked into.

Yooka Replaylee absolutely needs bug fixes (especially in world 2,) and I hope they go through with that 60 FPS switch 2 patch. But maaaaaaaaaan, this game is fun. I've so missed games that just let you fuck around and collect cool stuff. Very chill, very enjoyable.

+: I didn't like the idea of having all the moves unlocked from the start, as I worried it would make progression feel bad. But MAN, it feels great to see a collectible and know you have everything you need to get it. I miss the feeling of "Ooh, I wonder what power I'll unlock," but it's a tradeoff.

Ok, so initial thoughts:

- : The game looks fairly blurry in S2 handheld. This isn't fully the devs' fault, but it's a bit unpleasant, especially at 30 fps.

+: Man, I've missed this kind of game. I'm constantly going "Ooo, what's that? Ooo, what's over there? Ooo, I found a thing."
