Saying goodbye to you 6 years ago was incredibly difficult, yet the memories we shared remain etched in my heart. I’m strangely grateful that Mother’s Day never held deep significance for us—because your passing on/about this now marks a quiet anniversary rather than deepening an already heavy loss.
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!
Unfortunately, I know I don’t look friendly and approachable.
I wanted to share about the Happy Cat Sanctuary, which suffered a devastating fire, resulting in the loss of its founder, Christopher. Every donation will make a difference for the over 200 cats needing care and support during this time.

When students are struggling or dysregulated, we should show grace and understanding, not judgment or frustration. We have a responsibility to foster an environment where they can thrive, not one that reinforces negative stereotypes or diminishes their potential. #autism #specialeducation #teachers
Our students deserve so much more than that. They need respect, dignity, and compassion. It’s essential that we teach them the skills they need to grow and develop, and that includes presuming competence in them at all times. #autism #disabilites #TeachersofBlueSky #specialeducation
I’m appalled by some of the discussions I’ve seen in a few Facebook groups. The way some teachers speak about and treat their students is disturbing. If you have the mindset that your students with disabilities are “spoiled brats” or “entitled babies,” maybe it’s time to reflect on your own approach
