To be clear, the SNAP program does need to be culled of abuse. Enough with $100 manicures while receiving food benefits.

People need to learn to prioritize. There are free resources available to help us do that. 💚

But suddenly cutting benefits across the board is not the way.

Nor the Way.

This is the first time SNAP benefits have been withheld due to govt shutdown. And by those who invoke the name of Jesus. 😔

They may borrow His name, but this is not His way.

Don't give up on God when they misuse His name.

Help your neighbor, if they are in true need.
