So... I need to write some short stories. I don't think I can actually write and submit 52 short stories in a year, but I bet I can write some, and then submit a handful of short stories by this time next year.

But then I watched this video by "Writing with Andrew" and... he makes a lot of great points. I write scientific manuscripts professionally, but I bet my science writing would be improved if I worked on my speculative fiction writing. /

I've been going off of Sanderson's advice to write 10 books and then start submitting for publication. I think this advice was given in his 2025 lecture series. (I can't find this again, so I might be making it up.)

I watched this video by BookFox that mentioned that Ray Bradbury suggested to write a short story every week. This was back in the day when an author could make a living off of short stories, so I wrote this advice off. /
