This was during the era when Hanna-Barbera was looking into doing more live-action productions. Their most successful one was the Banana Splits. This was their attempt to capture the popularity of the Muppet Show.

You know Hanna-Barbera is popular again when you see Gen Z and the like drawing fanart and gushing over characters such as Huckleberry Hound.

I'm still going by the notion that Jellystone is the reason more classic H-B stuff is getting remastered. The show had done its job in renewing interest for the brand very well.

I enjoyed Jellystone, but the show's main purpose was to renew interest for Hanna-Barbera. It did its job as it got Gen Z and the like discovering and appreciating the classic H-B stuff. It caused a demand for more access to H-B's library, something not seen since the Turner era.

Honestly, it's good I had ditched Twitter. I don't have to worry about some rando saying "You can't be ace and be part of LGBTQ+ community! You must suffer trauma to be part of our community!". I grew up in a loving Christian household and came out ace without any major drama.
