Dumb tech question for mutuals, my little brother's CPU isn't supported by Windows 11, so he can't upgrade right now. We enrolled him in third-party security updates for the time being. If we were to swap out his CPU with one that's compatible with Windows 11, could he still upgrade for free later?

they've been getting better in recent years, DW Origins and Samurai Warriors 5 both had solid ports, but that era during the PS3 to PS4 shift had some of the worst PC ports imaginable, it's insane that they're still selling most of those
