Electric game. In the stadium, almost everyone stood for the whole game (sitting down between innings).

Couldn’t believe people kept doing it as it crept to the 12th…13th…14th…

We were like old men at the end, grumbling and getting up slowly just in time for the first pitch each half inning.

Probably the best in game improvisation by a team stadium entertainment group ever. Crowd went as nuts as it did when Naylor scored the first run.

If it had been planned, would have happened in the first, regular, Salmon Run.

He did fail…at justifying the turn towards law and order and more cops to deal with the pandemic crime increase.

Maybe Soros could step up with some funding. Unless he’s committed too much to the No More Kings March.

Wow never realized that Andy’s famous milkshaking “nearly killed” him. Must be a dairy allergy.

Been waiting for this story. Now how about demanding evidence before printing any Trump admin claim?

It’s not like they had any warning from the It’s Morbin Time rerelease catastrophe. Was even Jared Leto!

I don’t believe in the AI em dash thing, but not sure I’ve ever seen em dashes used where they are not only incorrect, but used where there is no punctuation required at all.

That’s just Philly and it’s always been that way.

Because as we all know, rare earth exports is the only thing to discuss with China.

It’s a hell of a lot easier to shutdown generation than add it, plus it’s an opportunity to shed expensive and poor performing plants.

Plus the added interconnect and transmission is to everyone’s benefit in terms of stability and ability to sell power.

They’d be hurt, but not likely badly.

This bubble worries me. Telecom crash left dark fiber, .com crash still left a lot of good tech that was scooped up. When the AI bubble pops, it feels more like tulips. Not much intrinsic value.

On the bright side, power prices are likely to drop given the glut of energy not powering data centers.

One of his final performances was at the at the terminally uncool Telluride Bluegrass Festival.

If they truly believed their hypothesis, it would be unethical to give women Tylenol during pregnancy as part of a study. And if you can’t double blind the study AND properly balance the groups, it’s pretty much useless compared to already published data.

Same problems that bedevil vaccine studies

Autocorrect is the bane of alternative spellings and word stems in names.

As if @washingtonpost.com couldn’t get any more slimy, checkout the new paywall options.

I guess subscription losses have reached the point where using more manipulative dark patterns to trick you into subscribing than Amazon Prime is all they have left.

Gotta love “Monthly $1 every week”

I’d go with Ballroom Blitz:

And the man at the back said, "Everyone, attack"
And it turned into a ballroom blitz
And the girl in the corner said, "Boy, I wanna warn ya"
"It'll turn into a ballroom blitz"
