Electric game. In the stadium, almost everyone stood for the whole game (sitting down between innings).

Couldn’t believe people kept doing it as it crept to the 12th…13th…14th…

We were like old men at the end, grumbling and getting up slowly just in time for the first pitch each half inning.

I don’t believe in the AI em dash thing, but not sure I’ve ever seen em dashes used where they are not only incorrect, but used where there is no punctuation required at all.

It’s a hell of a lot easier to shutdown generation than add it, plus it’s an opportunity to shed expensive and poor performing plants.

Plus the added interconnect and transmission is to everyone’s benefit in terms of stability and ability to sell power.

They’d be hurt, but not likely badly.

This bubble worries me. Telecom crash left dark fiber, .com crash still left a lot of good tech that was scooped up. When the AI bubble pops, it feels more like tulips. Not much intrinsic value.

On the bright side, power prices are likely to drop given the glut of energy not powering data centers.

If they truly believed their hypothesis, it would be unethical to give women Tylenol during pregnancy as part of a study. And if you can’t double blind the study AND properly balance the groups, it’s pretty much useless compared to already published data.
