I don’t disagree but I might have been part of the problem this year. It wasn’t Christmas, but I did just buy some winter gloves this weekend that Costco just put out. Capitalism just played me like a fiddle.

I am not a stranger to American White Pelicans, but when I went to the nearby wildlife refuge I was shocked to see a couple hundred of them floating around looking for fish.

I had a vagrant rufous hummingbird show up in my yard several years ago so I keep mine up for a while in the fall because I irrationally expect another one to show up anytime lol.
