i don’t think anyone expected Israel to conduct a genocide but maybe the USA and the many other countries that continue to arm Israel -> they sent 2000 and 5000 ton bombs (!) and tons of other arms… far too many, far to ‘big’ for such a small place with very dense civilian population centers…
