uhh idk if I'm interpreting the question right but they basically went from straight up just taking them in / putting them to work by force to manipulating them into it - so, still technically by force, but by less violent means (so it's harder for blanks to get out or them to get caught)

Everything's still pretty up in the air since I bounce around between which locations I work on in terms of developing them but yeah the forest is meant to have a lot of landmarks or specific areas in it that are used/known for certain stuff.

Actually, now that I think about it- I do have a subreddit (r/CERENILLIA) that I plan on using to write about my OCs and their world in detail (it's KIND of empty-ish right now because... I'm slow and a bozo) but it gives me more room to write stuff out so... you can look at that if you want to LOL.
