My dog has learned that when crows cry out in alert there's something dangerous (to the crows) nearby. And last time that meant a bobcat, which Baldo was FASCINATED with.

Now every time the crows alert, he has to run outside and see what's up.

Day 282: Today's comic is dressed up (kind of?) in the drawing style of Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa -- I'd say I fumbled on capturing Arakawa's drawing style for most of this one, but perfect is the enemy of 'done' and I am so busy this week I could pee my pants and cry 🤷‍♀️

Just weird. I was a house servant for some bougie rich lady and that was not a good time. I was getting fired and trying to take my stuff back home with me but she thought I was stealing.

Truly bizarre. Woke up in a huff thinking it was real for a brief moment.

Truly appreciating how much garbage I got to avoid by having a copy of Winders 10 Educator's Edition. Less bloat, never had any sudden changes, never had its AI spybot installed.

I wonder if there's an education edition for 11. If there is, it probably does include that junk.

Day 279: Slapstick home defense with Nancy and Sluggo

In the comic, my spouse and I are drawn like Calvin and Hobbes (my spouse looks like Hobbes, but with square glasses and cheetah spots instead of tiger stripes, and I am drawn as Calvin but with round glasses and long, dark, wavy hair. I'm gesturing happily at he center of the panel and saying "Woah-- we got a ton of acorn squash from the radioactive vine!" James/Hobbes ("Jobbes") is scratching their head and looking at the acorn squashes, some of which are arranged in monstrous "snowman" builds, similar to many of the Calvin and Hobbes comics do with snowmen, and saying "This seems... ominous."
