Hi, I'm Inky, and this is my new pinned post! I love to write and crochet about my favorite games (mainly DAI and DOS2), and the replies below contain active threads for the fanworks I create, including my fics, amigurumi, screenshots, amis for sale, and whatever else I decide to stick here. 🖤
A photo of my desk area, with art of Blackwall and commissioned & gifted art of Blackwall and my OC (Thom and Mira) on the walls. The desk is black and has the monitor (with one of my Blackwall screenshots as the background) on the upper level. Sitting around the monitor are a lit DAI lamp, Thom and Mira minis from @InkyBlackFire, Thom and Mira funko pops, a jar of markers, the first BG3 owlbear I ever crocheted (with a Blackwall pin on its chest patch), and a small nug crocheted from my own pattern sitting on the owlbear ami's leg.

The lower part of the desk has a wired keyboard and mouse, both sitting on a flora of Thedas oversized mousepad, and behind it, beneath the upper part of the desk, are candles, most of them from fandom (Ifan, Blackwall, Halsin). In front of the desk is a comfy blue chair. Sitting in the chair is a giant crocheted nug, looking at the monitor with its hands resting on the desk near the keyboard. On the back of the chair is a crocheted lap blanket designed to look like Blackwall's gambeson.

All crochet pieces were crocheted by me, and all are my designs/freehanded, aside from the giant nug, which was worked up in blanket yarn using the pattern by Martina Sůkalová.

The art visible on the wall (there's more out of frame and on other walls) are by various artists, including @knutty, @InkyBlackfire, and @deathsgarden A highly detailed Blackwall (Dragon Age Inquisition) amigurumi, standing outside in the morning light. Behind him are the branches of a pine tree. His arms are folded across his chest, and his needle felted eyes are looking up and into the camera. No pattern—freehanded. More pics and info about how I made him here (see alt text): https://bsky.app/profile/blackwallmancer.bsky.social/post/3lz6zem7bik2w

I've been trying to work on my PC with my ol' reliable +10 year old 2nd hand small Intuos Pro, and while it works, it's just not adequate for my software+display anymore and doing anything is at best awkward and at worst PAINFUL.

So I set a ko-fi goal to save for a refurbished Huion /o/

I was just laid off from my job with no notice so if anyone can give anything to help me stay afloat until I can find something else I would really really appreciate it. No amount is too small ko-fi.com/impavidus/go...

Digital illustration of Inquisitir Lavellan (f) and Solas in a lush forest. Lavellan, a black woman with short hair, crouched with her arms crossed and a frown while holding her staff. Solas is holding a glowing blue mushroom gingerly with a hand and supporting his staff with the other arm, also crouched and speaking back to Lavellan. They're perched on the thick roots of a huge mossy tree, light seeping through the forest canopy with dust shimmer around them.

Post-Haven falling, I hc that he's the one to get Mira's body temp back up after Everything. She's unconscious with bad hypothermia & they don't want to risk raising raising her temp too fast with magic, so he's basically like "I got this" & strips them both down to hold her under a pile of blankets

Literallyyyy. I have a couple fandom shirts that are beautiful I love them but I hate wearing them because that material feels like hell across my chest ew ew ew

Collected all the infinity stones, so now I just need to secure the power of friendship and we'll be on our way
The map symbol thing from the Fade in DAO, all lit up with pretty blue/white light now that the five assholes have been burned/smashed/frozen/stabbed. Time to get my homies and yeehaw tf on outta here.

Made my stupid thing into a canvas tote bag eheheh

kinda wanted it on a shirt, but I haaaate how vinyl graphics feel to wear ugh so stiff.
A photo of a white canvas bag laid out on a bed. On both sides of the bag is a square graphic with several pngs of Blackwall (Dragon Age Inquisition) layered over a grey background with green flecks. At the center top of the image is white text in all caps that reads: DO IT FOR HIM

Okay, back to DAO. I need to get out of the fucking Fade.

A photo of a large crocheted owlbear plush sitting in a yard in autumn. The grass is short and dying, and is sprinkled with dried leaves. The owlbear's legs are kicked out at the sides so that its arms can rest between them, just like it sits in the game (BG3).

The owlbear ami is a light/cerulean blue, with off-white yarn used for the foot pads, chest piece, face mask, and wings. The off-white yarn is all brushed out by hand (a seriously boring and annoying process, but I love the results) to make the yarn look furry—it's very soft. Each foot and paw has three pointed claws in medium brown, and the same brown is used on the crocheted button eyes (which have white Xs on them) and beak. The owlbear ami has three patches on its body: a light brown one on its chest fluff, a darker brown one on its left thigh, and a light blue one on its back. Along the seam of its head/ears is visible mending in white thread (decorative), and the same white thread is used to make tiny Xs from the top of its mask down to it's bottom. Stuffed firmly with poly-fil and sewn with love and an average amount of swearing. Whew. The same owlbear ami from the previous image, but turned so that the back and side are visible, showing off the patches and stitches.
