Article I lets each chamber set its own membership rules, and SCOTUS almost never steps in. Even if she’s being denied unconstitutionally—which she is—it’ll be resolved long before any writ gets heard. But Dems need to remember this and not go back to business-as-usual when they take the control.

It’s wild how no matter how harmless the topic, someone out there will be mad. You could post about a magic ring in crochet and you’ll still have someone raging that you didn’t use a chain-two and slip stitch.

Millions will peacefully assemble in towns and cities nationwide — and that’s “hating America”? Meanwhile, MAGA won’t get off the barcolounger and turn off Fox News unless it’s for a Trump rally. We all know which side really hates America.

It’s a term I’ve only ever used to push back against their narrative. And the few times I’ve see it elsewhere—e.g. Portland and Seattle v1.0—were fringe.

It goes without saying that there will be agitators—right wing agitators.

Rewatched ‘1984’ today — the parallels to today are chilling. I reread it in January, and it hit me intellectually, but the film is a punch in the gut.

Imagine all the prosecutors and FBI agents over the years who had to quietly and meticulously build cases against corrupt officials — and now here’s Donald Trump and his criminal cabal doing it all out in the open and somehow untouchable. I don’t see how the justice system recovers.

Popping up everywhere. It needs to be regulated. It’s use for propaganda and false flag ops will only increase and people will get hurt, figuratively and literally.

Republicans cheered when Printz v. U.S. held that the federal government can’t force states to help enforce federal law under the 10th Amendment. Now here they are in 2025 threatening states that won’t assist immigration enforcement — the exact thing Printz forbids. Disgusting lying, hypocrites.

Good riddance to any who do walk. NYPD can only be better for it.

He’ll pardon them all, no doubt, and others. But the next administration must treat those acts as illegitimate—corrupt instruments to protect co-conspirators in a scheme to deny people’s constitutional rights. That cannot stand.

Really an homage to the original—timeless and timely with references to corporatism, ecological collapse, synthetics and AI. Can’t wait for season 2!

Interesting. Not here to argue or judge but I had a completely different reaction. To me, it’s the closest of any of the spinoffs to the original aesthetic and, in some ways, is better in that it expands the universe. But I have also been accused of having pedestrian tastes.

At least the Red Coats wore uniforms.

What a MAGA sock-puppet he’s turning out to be.

Fat chance—even with MAGOTUS
