First piece with my new (and reduced) workflow. Only one layer for all the lines and it’s in vector format now. Some growing pains to get through, but it felt like I got this finished much quicker!
I'm enjoying experimenting with these thicker lines and mixing cell shading with gradients as a highlight. This one's a bit more cartoony than the reference, but I think it came out well.
Holo's posing really messed with my usual workflow, but it's something to think about going forward. Really liked how this one came out and got to play around some different lighting.
This one was a quick test to see if I could cut down on the steps needed for each piece. I usually do a rough & detailed sketch before my lines, but here I tided up and coloured the sketch layer.
